Us as fans are stupid at times. There’s no chance Anderson should be anywhere near that starting 11 on Saturday. He and the rest of the team were crap against Atlanta first half and he was non existent against Benfica.

This reminds me of when a lot of fans were trying to say Sean Longstaff was better than Rice and and he’s going to be world class. Or when Matty scored against Utd we tried to compare him to a young Paul Scholes ??‍♂️

It’s been a long time since I was actually confident going into a season. We have at least 2 players for every position (not just doing bodge jobs) both 11’s have been doing well in pre season and if we get new players in they would just add to what we already have. Could be a decent season compared to what we have grown used to.

Great craic lads and you all summed up the match and players perfectly.
As for the team next week providing everyone is fit ( not jonjo) it’s a difficult decision to make and I think everyone has done their chances no harm, cbs in my opinion will depend on what Eddie sees in forest and how he thinks they will play, as for midfield I’m going for Bruno Joelinton and Sean after his performance on Friday night, the forward line more or less picks itself with ASM and Wilson but on the right I think Miggy deserves his chance after pre season, oh Goal keeper it’s a toss of a coin but I’ll go Pope only because he played with at least 3 of our back four on Friday and possibly the four?‍♂️ in Eddie we trust let’s hope everyone is fit for next Saturday. ????
