Everything so far has just been professional. The signings have been astute. You can see the roadmap to where the owners want to take the club. I think top 8 with a cup run would be a great first full season result. Nice new fat sponsor next season will help with ffp too.

Depends on injuries to key players for me . If they keep their best players fit , who knows . However, they need to pick up more wins as it’s 1 win in 6 at the min . If that continues , I wonder how long it is before fans get restless and pressure builds on Eddie . But I think Newcastle will be flying this season imo

I wasn't sure about Eddie howe at first but that was because I wasn't sure if he was capable of getting us out of the relegation zone. But I will admit that I was wrong and now I am a massive fan of Eddie and love the way he has us playing! I was so embarrassed of the way played Brucey ball, never played forward and constantly played backwards. It was embarrassing! I think a top ten finish would be a realistic prediction and I would be more than happy with that. Remember that it's a new project and will take time!

Easy pleased Newcastle fans have their heads in the sand. This is NOT a small club like Gatehead' that requires years of slow and steady growth. NUFC was always a top club and simply needs three super stars paid on their success, plus a few upgrades. The cost would be 200,000 to 350,000mill to sign them on plus 50million aa year in wages, job done. Mr Howe has no expertise in running a top class club. He has never taken any club to become European champions. Nor has he ever handled a world class super star. Our newby 'Uncertain owners' have installed a second rate manager who will produce second rate performances. How can you all expect such a time waster to attract the top world class stars who cost between 75 t0 100,000million in sign on fees? Bruno was one decent buy but without equal or better top world class players like Lucas Paqueta around him it is truly a shame for his and Newcastle's ambitions as they will never happen as better clubs with more ambition will simply keep raiding all their successful players away with juicier contracts. Current status of NUFC ambitions seems like, "Oh everything will be OK the fans will be over the moon with a little cup run to Jolly them along." Meanwhile the club flounders in mediocre mid table going nowhere?

I think we can get 6th-9th in the league but it's more of a feel thing than a final position.

If we are 3 weeks out, in a season where relegation has never been a worry, with a slim, outside, unlikely chance of nicking a European slot, I'll be very very happy with that.

Oh and yeah, a decent cup run. A couoke of quarters or maybe even a semi

I'd take top ten and a cup run.

Only thing Is under Eddie we look capable of so much more already.

The second half of last season shocked a lot of people, I've a feeling we're in for more of the same.

As a Newcastle fan, I’m just hoping and praying for promotion. All I read in comments sections for most of last season was “richest club in the championship”. Would be embarrassing if we don’t get back up considering that 😉
