Newcastle United to target top class soon-to-be free agents? | Transfer window video

January transfer window is open and there’s some top quality players who are out of contract in 6 months time, there’s no doubt Newcastle United have looked at the list of who, but would it make sense to go in early and avoid risk of losing out by placing a bid, lower than the players value because of their status?

Seko Fofana (CM) transfer has flown under the radar a bit but he seems an exciting talent. Just watched a game in which he scored both goals for Lens to draw level with Lille and then also scored the final penalty to clinch the cup tie.

Think it'll be hard for Newcastle to get the likes of Franck Kessie, who is wanted by just about every UCL winner candidate, but there are valid options elsewhere to keep NUFC up. From Lens would also look at RB/RW Jonathan Clauss, whose chance creation stats are literally off the charts in the top 5 leagues combined chart. He should have been included for Les Bleus as well, but Deschamps is asleep at the wheel.

Still need a centre back, striker, left back and a midfielder, hopefully the come thick and fast we don’t have time to waste with one of the most important games of the season up next

If they haven’t got 3 players through the door in the first week it’s a failure. They have had enough time to do what they’ve done with Trippier. If they don’t sign 5 quality players in total they are down, simple as that.

Would love to see us signing current Chelsea centre backs and Manu players especially DVDBeek , and another Marquee player like Dabayla just to show intent to rub it in .Need another DM and an AM imo.

Mental how mid last year we would have given a left bollock for someone like dembele and now we pick and choose, I mean it’s not a dig but it is mental, never seen anything like it at Newcastle ?

Denis Zakaria is class! One of the best midfielders in the Bundesliga. Very strong with very good defensive skills. He started out as defensive midfielder, but has evolved more into more of a deep lying playmaker because of his great passing ability and also very good on the ball.. My quick player review of him. He is rated as one of very top midfielder in the league, by most who follow the Bundesliga.. He is 25 by the way. So has some experience which would be good in our position. Although granted not Prem experience..

Hey, we have NUFC fanclub here in Vietnam aswell, the first members started it back in 1990s. We are small but one of the oldest English football fanclub in our country (maybe just 2nd, behind Man United fanclub). DM me if you want to make a video about our story.
