Newcastle United vs The Premier League

A number of Premier League clubs voted to block all linked sponsorships with clubs in the Premier League, so is there a mini war breaking out between PL clubs?

I was never in favour of the super league idea, however I am getting so sick and tired of this narrative that the "big six" were going to "create their own league" and effectively leave the premier league, the super league was a replacement for the champions league not the premier league, the teams had to stay in their domestic divisions in order to be eligible.
In the end it has been shown that all the teams who pulled out of the idea, dodged a bullet, as the only teams who would've actually benefitted from the super league are real madrid and barcelona, with rumours that JP morgan had promised to finance Madrid's stadium improvements and to also help barcelona out of debt,
which is why they're the only ones not to pull out of the proposed league.

Players in the NFL do not get paid anywhere near as players at a high level European football club. There are 50 players on a roster for the NFL they can only afford to pay big money for their star players. A wage cap would be great for European football. Complicated but doable. James needs to be on this show more often.

Roman Abramovic funds war crimes in Palestine (funding illegal Israeli settler groups) and he can do it without facing any negative repercussions because he's a white guy.

I dont see why sponsorship from owner affiliated clubs is an issue. its not debt on the clubs balance sheet. its the owner literally just putting money into the club without harming the club (like the glazers) with additional debt

In a similar way the NFL works with worst team getting first draft pick the Premier League can reverse prize money so the bottom club gets most prize money. This would result in greater competitive league in the long run and lessens the need for Champions League qualification.

Wage caps aren’t illegal, NFL, NHL, NBA, MLS all have them, and over in England Rugby League and Rugby Union have salary caps, in Russia the hockey league has salary caps, another example of Europe using them, so it’s not illegal and not unheard of in Europe, salary caps could work imo.

Understand what James is trying to say but what he's not seeing is the big 6 don't want these rules for the rest of the league, they are already so far ahead of the other teams putting these blocks in place is just stopping the other 14 clubs from ever getting anywhere near them.
