Trippier would be an excellent start to things. He has more skill than any other defender currently at the Toon ( possibly midfield as well). Hope there is more to come. ?? Howay the Lads. Go Super Eddie Howe.

  2. MMA Philosophy

Newcastle, Middlesbrough and Sunderland could be all battling it out for North East pride next season in the championship lol SAFC !!!

    Serious question…..
Are Newcastle supporters, in general, really comfortable with the source of their new-found wealth…?

  4. Richie Mason

Players will only join for the money, not because they want to play for newcastle its not a attractive club we all know that. For the ones coming in they arnt sitting thinking i cant wait to play with almiron and richie are they or i cant wait to have a ice bath in a wheely bin in january in long benton

To be fair to manquillo he really hasn’t had a game plan to keep bombing forward all the time, I actually think he’s stepped up massively and has become a really good player, I’d have trippier rb and while we haven’t a lb put manquillo there, then Botman and whoever at cb, be really good

  6. The Matrix Weave

it wouild be a strange move for trippier to move to nufc if hes a first team starter and playing for trophies and the cl etc unless he wants to go back to the uk for family reasons, money etc

  7. Liam NUFC

Chelsea is linked with him but he would only be a squad player there he would be guaranteed game time with us plus he has family up north

Fingers crossed for trippier , quality experience knowledge of the game premier League and Spanish league so difficult and different styles he's come up against I think he be good one .

  10. Geordie Ian

Shame we can’t be as quick as Everton to sign a player but maybe if we did Southampton would moan on and say we can play the game now lol
