Maximus will put the fear of God into our snowflake defence. Come On Everton give it 100% this is all we can ask for and also the least that we can expect from you. Try really giving a shit!

  2. Simon Jones

Oh god Coventry, that's bad memories. Not the relegation battle, but a rainy Wednesday where we drew 0.0 in an awful game. The police guided us into the coventry bar where the beer was awful and 3x the price. Got to win v newcastle ,so those days can continue lol. Totally rat arsed, like we used to on away days to forest lol . Damn I am thinking about happier times.

Everton can beat Newcastle 3-0 and still go down.BUT, a win will help.Just don't got thinking that win this and it's ok!! We started this season with one decent goal scorer, and it just hasn't happened.

When Salah plays and plays well, even the ball boys step it up, it goes through the team, average players become world beaters. The season has been poor since injuries a few game in, the ball boys around Goodison will be nervous, the fans will be nervous, the players will probably be nervous………what we need Thursday is luck.

  4. Frank Byrne

How can you leave Gordon out!….when he's the only one showing any kind of commitment!…?If the rest of the team cared as much as that young lad we'd climb out of the shit!…?

It isn’t just new signings with Newcastle Howe has improved all the existing squad not least fitness. Not rated as a manager? Performed a miracle at Bournemouth where they still love him. Nowt’s sure in football so we still need those points.

Know it's all ifs and buts, but a point suits NUFC tomorrow, 1 point does nothing for you but sow more dissolution, you could always get help from the officials like Chelsea and Liverpool, VAR really helps them out.

I left you a comment at the beginning of the season warning you how your season was going to go under Rafa, the man is a total fraud, and now you will be relegated.
I think your being a bit unfair on Howe too, yeh we spent 90 millionish, but Bruno has played 2 games, wood has scored 1, Trips has been injured more than he played, Burn and taggart weren't exactly world beaters, but what he has done is give our good players belief again, he has made them realize we are not a one man team, he has also give them a bit of freedom to express themselves in the game.
I feel for you guys, i see the pain, and feel it too as it was us just 10 weeks ago, but what was frank doing signing 2 sulking players like Ali and DVB, these 2 were never going to help you because they were not even playing football, you got players who mentality is all wrong, both have the talent, but both needed to go to teams that had winning mentalities to snap them out of it.
I wish you all the very best, as i see it right now, your 2 best options for points is us tomorrow and Burnley away, you need 6 points from them 2 games, i just don't see it though, 3-0 to the Toon. ASM to torture you. ? Sorry ?

We’ve got a lot of fans who are complete cowards. They’re the ones who shout ‘shite’ at the top of their voice from ten mins in at Spurs. They’re the fans who slaughter Michael Keane when he’s had a bad start. They’re the ones who join in with ‘you’re getting sacked in the morning’ when the opposition fans are getting on Benitez’s back. They have no backbone, they admit defeat instead of doing the harder, braver thing of getting behind the team in adversity. I hope they DO stop going if we get beaten by Newcastle because we need resilient, supportive, competitors in the stands as well as on the pitch.

From a Newcastle fan… The biggest change from Bruce to Howe I think is fitness. The players are confident that they can win a 5 – 10 yard race for the ball now. The key word in my last sentence was the reference to confidence. Just what this Everton team needs but seems to be lacking in my view. The players at your club are quality players. They don't need coached on the technicalities of football per say. Peak their fitness ASAP and I believe their confidence will rise, all of a sudden Everton will be a different animal. Good luck from Friday onwards for the rest of the season.

As a newcastle fan I think our players are going to be extremely frustrated by the result on Sunday because we played so well and I think they’ll want to go to goodison and batter Everton, I hope you stay up but I’m very confident for tomorrow night

  11. Pablo

Cov fan here, I was at the game where we drew 1-1 and you stayed up. Really sad to see a club of your size in the same position 24 years later. I was glad you stayed up that day and I hope you stay up this season.

  12. Someone

I really do find it incredible that people are saying this is all Benitez’s fault and he was sacked too late, Frank’s record is fucking dreadful and Benitez would DEFINITELY have kept Everton up. Bizarre.

  13. frank miley

2-0 defeat btw i stopped going the game ages ago , wasting money on that shit i decided to finish the mortgage 8 yrs early and buy a new car, and i retired from work at 58

  14. Elliot Chesters

Just got to get everyone behind the team, i know its a broken record but even if we go 1-0 down we can’t all slump we have to still chant and sing and encourage them to grind out a win. It won’t be pretty and it wont be a drubbing but if we can squeak a 1-0 then I’m more than happy

  15. Abu Bilal

By the way lads we don't play "bruceyball 5 at the back shite anymore"…we only played that against Chelsea because we had no midfielders on bench, we always play 4 3 3 under Eddie so expect a tough tough game against us ??

  16. Abu Bilal

Not convinced?? Eddie howe not a good manager??? ? ? Give your a wobble matey he's 10x better than lampard and I actually hope howe does you over on Thursday and seals your coffin…please retract that comment if he does ??

  17. Shaun Gray

Love your shows, keep up the great work, but I have to disagree I think a draw is helpful. IT stops our bad run. Wish I was there I am sadly overseas. Hope we win obviously COYBbs ⚽ ?

  18. Anthony Edwards

Lampard looks and sounds beaten and as accepting of relegation as the players. Were mid battle and technically not even in the relegation zone yet, Lampard has been a disaster. Forget shouts of “lets keep him in the championship”, there has to be managers out there who can save us, Eddie was laughed at and look at what he’s doing, we need a real battle hardened leader.

  19. Lewis Patterson

Expecting a tough game on Thursday, a win for us takes the points tally up to 34 and should secure safety. Going into the game of the back of a loss against Chelsea but the performance was very good and deserved at least a point on Sunday. The fact that a couple of decisions didn’t go our way on Sunday may give us even more confidence for the Everton game. An early goal or get through the first 20 and frustrate the crowd will put us in a good position to get a result from the game.

  20. Tyrone Hollow

3pts is the only result. A draw isn’t going to do anything. I have no idea how FL can get a tune out of these individuals, but one thing is for certain, come the end of the season, i never want to see the majority of these players in an Everton shirt again. Have some pride and put a shift in, you wage stealing shi*es.
