In today’s video I’ll be looking at what Fantasy Premier League team you should be picking in the Premier League restart, taking a look at Wildcards, Bargains, Must-Have Players & Ones To Watch.
First of all let’s look at where you’ll get the most points and the must-have players. For me Mohamed Salah & Sadio Mane both have to be in this team. With Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool out of the Champions League & Fa Cup we could see the Reds going for a record number of League points – this could see the likes of Mane and Salah both playing out the season.
Staying in midfield we take a look at the double gameweek and you can’t look past Kevin De Bruyne who has already played a blinder against Arsenal earlier in the season grabbing two goals at the Emirates – you would fancy KDB to grab something against Burnley at home as well.
Whilst Bruno Fernandes has made a fast start to life in Manchester. Since making his debut against Wolves, he’s been directly involved in more goals than any other player. He’s also been at the heart of everything United have done well and costs just 8.6 million. What’s more is he’s on penalties for Manchester United and considering they’ve won three more penalties than anyone else this season, Bruno Fernandes looks like a must have. Realistically you could get both Bruno and De Bruyne into your side but if it’s a question of cash, it could be worth saving yourself two million and going for the Portuguese attacking midfielder.
Looking at the forwards, Diogo Jota – Costing just 6.4 million, Jota could allow you to get some more premium options elsewhere whilst still picking up points. He went into the break in unbelievable form, not only scoring back to back hattricks in the Europa League, but averaging 10 points per fixture over the last three gameweeks. What’s more is unlike a lot of players around this price point, Wolves have things to play for. Not only are they in the latter stages of the Europa League but Top four is still a possibility and if they fall short, they’ll qualify for the Europa League again. On top of that, Wolves have a very easy end to the season, with an average fixture difficulty rating of just 2.7 for their remaining games. The only question mark over Jota is the system that Wolves play. His scintillating form came in the 3-5-2 when Adama Traore was struggling with shoulder problems but with time to recover, Nuno could return to the 3-4-3 which has seen Jota struggle in this season.
