Something makes me think that this deal for Bruno will not go through partly because we keep talking about how great he is. There's a NUFC video coming out every 2 hours with his name in the title. It seems like all this talk is making the owners think these players are worth more than they are. Look what happened with Carlos and Batman, before this transfer window nobody had ever heard of these guys. That and EPL and teams are doing whatever they can to keep NUFC down as long as possible.

You say the owners would get backlash if only 2 signings came in. I think that is really unfair. It's not like they have not been trying. Clubs have seen it as payday when we come calling. Take ManU wanting a 12 million loan fee or clubs putting prices up and up. Yes we need better players. But I'd rather take a year in the Championship than have us be taken for mugs for years to come
