Ekitike lost his bottle, which says a lot about the player tbh, so maybe it's a bullet dodged there. Anyway, there is still time to get in a different striker maybe from another Pl team. Also how can we get so far down the line in a transfer and not know that the player did not want to join? Could no one contact the player before a bid and ask if he was interested in joining? Seems a waste of time and effort tbh.
