I'm not convinced by his highlights reel. He never looks in control of the ball. He's got that same languid erratic style as Shola and Ekitike. If I were being more charitable, I'd say similar to Kanu.
I think he'll excite and frustrate in equal measure.

He is fast, tall, physical, great dribbling and shooting. He had a down season last year lot of unlucky performances. But the year before that a great season. Still only 22 years of age. In my opinion the board finally realised that they can't rely on Wilson to play more than 20-30 minutes per game, if that, and stay fit. He came into the season fully recovered from injury and has not played a single full game in neither pre-season nor 3 regular season games, and still it looks like that's too much.
So the board decided, ok, enough is enough. We want a starting striker we can rely on for the next 4-5-6 years, damn the initial cost.
Given Isak's reported skill he will only increase in value – he's like a £100 million striker!
Not sure about spending 60 million for a striker who scored 6 league goals last season (in a much easier league)

I’m fascinated by Isak. Very technical. Looks ludicrously calm on the pitch. I think if he can deal with the physicality of the Premiership, he’ll be a treat 🙌 Also, it seems like West Ham pounced on Paqueta as soon as this news came in. Their backroom staff were all, “Quickly! While Ashworth is distracted!” 😂
