I would Love Felix but would be a massive price tag, I think this is one of them stories, to show a club we are in negotiations with that we can go elsewhere negotiation tactics. There will be two major signings a free transfer and a couple of lower cost transfers

I would run a million miles away from Felix. He has a very questionable attitude, flatters to decieve and hasnt done anything of note at Chelsea

We would have to smash both our transfer record/wage bill and I question if he is better than the likes of Isak who he would be competing with for a starting XI position

He’s a class class player – would love him but we won’t pay for his salary. Newcastle should focus on a LB , we can’t be playing DB next season. I will go for Brighton’s Mitoma

nice thought, but strength in depth is needed rather than one flash in the pan.
considering you can probably bag both madisson and diaby for that price,I'd be inclined to refuse the fee for felix.
Yes he's a great player, but we need a big squad of GOOD players, there's half a dozen or so spots to fill to get rid of the "meh" players already in the squad.

A very good but considered a luxury player. Felix can turn a game around with some magic, or gone missing on the pitch for whole game. I rather we aim for Tammy Abraham or Ramos who has a strong presence at the upfront and have better finishing.

  6. Stephen Nutkin

Neither Bruno, Botman or Isak came with a guaranteed place in the Champions League within the first two years so why wouldn’t other quality like players come to the vision that is Newcastle United 2023.

No one would have thought (including Eddie himself) a year ago that the lynchpin to Newcastle's success would be Sean Longstaff and without him they might miss out on CL but here we are. Just to replace him might cost tens of millions and he is a free academy product.

  8. John Green

According to Transfermarket he is valued at 50m euros. They want rid of him as he is out of favour with their manager so why not start at euros 75m = 62m gbp. Although he looks good when watching him his stats aren't that superb. 38 matches /8 goals

Here , did you see the report on talk sport saying Liverpool have been the divisions biggest beneficiary from VAR ? its on you tube. Hopefully this will become all the pundits talk about now and change course from the bs over last 5 months about time wasting .

Paul don't get sucked he is bad player that does not p[erform and Athletico Madrid are doing better without him, he also has attitude problem where he refues to play if he does not get what he wants.

Terrible player terrible choice. Let alone him being worth 87 million! It's broad daylight robbery!!

The equation is simple get to 72 points, that is 2 wins from 3 games. It's a pointless exercise fretting over what the bin dippers or cockney reds may do, we have no control over events in their games. I expect us to get 3 points.

Not enough goals or assists for me, not at that price. And does he press like Howe demands? Of course if he comes I'd hope for the best and hope Eddie works his magic, but if it were up to me I'd say NO.

The Felix rumour stinks to me. It smells like Felix's agent dropping the name of NUFC to publicise Felix's availability around Europe. I cannot believe the rumour for a second — let alone te £87M fee that NUFC have apparently "agreed" with zero questioning with Madrid… Sure… mmm… That's how it works.

Brighton , strange team lose to Everton beat Arsenal , Brighton let’s hope it’s a poor night for them
Let’s hope Trippier can get back to his kicks being more accurate
