I think last year's epic performance, and the transfers brought in this summer, have interfered with some 'fans' sense of reality. Two matches into the season, there are 36 left. Maybe the few turning on the team or players need to appreciate how well City played in that match. Newcastle did extremely well to lose by only one, and had chances to level the score, it wasn't a bad performance by any means. Been following the toon since the early 70's and it will take more than one loss to put me in that position, I've seen much worse. Trust Eddie, trust the players, they're doing an awesome job 🙂

If you lose, it doesn't matter, after all, coach Eddie Howe doesn't want to win, it's been proven that he was busy buying defenders, rather than attackers, maybe Liverpool def Newcastle United 3:1, if you win, thank goodness

I despair at the negativity and short sighted views of some “fans”. A 1-0 loss to, arguably, the best club team in the world and in just the second game of the season and they are all doom and gloom. Trust Eddie and let’s see where we are after a few games.

Massive thank you to the media team for actually setting up good microphones! It’s like day and night compared to the press conferences last year!

Lets never ever succumb to the lure of arrogance!!! That is not in the Geordie nature,…..but there are glimmers of some fans letting their emotions of disappointment run away with them . Just listen to Eddie's calm and measured approach, every Newcastle fan needs to take his lead.

To the ridiculous fickle bunch who sit behind a screen creating Newcastle groups claiming to be 'Fans', NUFC360 group especially, think before you post utter bullshit and look at the disruption it can cause.
