Everton match was the perfect time to rest 3 or 4 players even if it ment we were likely to lose, i think the players are absolutely fucked playing 100 mins every game for weeks on end with barely any substitutions. I think this month is going to tootally fuck up our season if we dont start to get players back quickly were going to end up with even more injuries players absolutely nackered things are falling right in place for the mackems to beat us if these injuries dont change

    Playing devil's advocate here;
    1) Maybe EH reckons a isak operating at 50% is still a better option than one of the youth players. I trust Eddie's judgement.
    2) Perhaps Isak has been told to manage himself in respect no his load and not picking up another injury.
    3) Could Eddie be emphasising the injury issue with his lack of subs and replacements in order to force transfer dealings in January?
    4) The current fit squad, isak included, will barely be training in-between games. Isak won't be getting any sharper by just going through recovery training.
    5) Great show. Great channel. And like Bob Hoskins used to say – "it's good to talk!"

Howay the lads and lasses man.

I trust Eddies judgement as far as when to put the kids in. Frustrations aside, he was patient with Miley when fans wanted him in earlier and Miley is absolutely flying now. I get the feeling that one or two of the others might start getting involved in the near future too if theyre up for it in his eyes.

  4. @charlie5861

got to say paul i disagree with you about isak not being a striker, he has 7 goals in 11 games which is outstanding when you look at his stats as a striker he is up there with the best in the league

Everton played a blinder and we just didn't have enough left in the tank to compete.

We beat Arsenal, Chelsea, Man U (twice) and we're unlucky not to win AWAY at PSG all amazingly with a bare bones team.

If the kids were ready, Howe would have put them in. They obviously aren't! Remember when every armchair manager was screaming for Hall to be put in ahead of Burn but when he did he got hooked for having a stinker? Not ready!

Just over a week ago everyone was praying we could hang in around the top until Xmas because it seemed unrealistic. Then we were rightfully applauding for digging out amazing results but now after one bad result, a lot of folk suddenly consider that Isak and Howe aren't good enough (even though every single player looked just as lethargic)!??

It's a bitterly disappointing result but the ott backlash is equally disappointing!

Where's the support or does that just exist if we are invincible?

    IMHO

People say mentally stuffed and physically drained. I get we are playing with the same 11 but if we want to win stuff and be around CL spots we cant be using these excuses. That how the best teams overcome this. Almiron needs replacing sorry but im done with this guys so predictable and offers nothing going forward.

Regarding Isak im getting sick and tired people slating him. Whats he supposed to do with no service. Hes a class player but i do think he should be playing from the left. Gordon

Gordon couldnt handle the atmosphere was to scared to make a mistake and get laughed at.

Trippier dont wanna talk about him but still World Class. Players make mistakes but that was bad.

    Schar was crap

J7 Bruno Miles and Lascelles were the best last night.

We needs better players come January.

  7. @jax-nmusicne

Everton actually outworked us, 111km to 107. Showing how much the fatigues catching up to us. Dyce masterless pumping the ball up and slowing the game down with fouls as well. Spurs will be a better performance

  8. @tomruddell9099

Can’t put it all down to fatigue. I really didn’t like Gordon’s body language, smiling and laughing… I get it was probably his way of dealing with the crowd but he showed his immaturity. Miggy a frustrating.
But why not rest trips with the games coming up. Hall, Kraft or Dummet could have done a job. If not why give them contracts etc.
My one question over Howe is his reluctance to change things.

  9. @key8819

Agree on the use of subs, the lads are giving everything and while it is disappointing to lose any game it is part of football, not a time to panic, we will lose more games this season for sure, let’s get behind the lads and roll on the January window, striker is a must for me but not easy to find a good one that won’t break the bank.
    Howay the lads.

  10. @deanstephenson9422

Isaak is an average striker. A "good" striker will score 20+ goals a season, which we will not be getting from this guy. Also what is with our manager (Southgate 2.0)? Hall will be asking himself what is the point and should I even be here if im not getting minutes. Tiredness comes from lack of rotation which Howe has always refused to do because he is a nepotist.

  11. @timgill2003

Yes Trippier made two mistakes which unfortunately led us to conceding but for me he is being made a scapegoat for losing the game but in truth our forward players made a lot more mistakes with their shooting accuracy and potency. If they had done their jobs better, we could have scores 3 or four goals in that second half. Slagging off Trippier feels a bit like biting off the hand that feeds us, he creates a lot more goals than anyone else. We should cut him some slack and don't piss him off. He came to us in our hour of need when he could have walked into any top European team.

  12. @jun3078

People piling on Isak for not being a central striker is just so weird, I watched him at Sociedad where he was on the left of a 2 striker system not a left winger and most of the goals he scored were generally central just the same as when he is in Sweden national team. People are not looking at what Isak do other than scoring goals take him out and you will cry for him to start centrally the very next second im sure.

  13. @TheWiseJames

I did say it was the worst time to play Everton. They where a cornered animal so to speak. An injured animal. I just knew they would surprise us. We had everything to lose and they had nothing to lose

  14. @petarpan8176

I'm still buzzing from the win against ManUtd so i dont care about today's loss. 😃Player's are very tired and player's can't keep up with so many games, it's hard. Let's just move on and we hope injured get better and the rest of them get good rest. Cheers guys!! 👍

  15. @rickyd4073

Isak is a second striker to play behind the centre forward. Mitrovic and Isak would be a good combo. ASM and Isak had a promising link up and understanding of each others game but unfortunately we didn’t get to see it often.

  16. @SiuHang35

I think before the third goal Lascelles had injury so that's why the substitution was changed to not having the young lads coming in first. I know it's very confusing and feel terrible to lose that Everton team but we just have to stay postivie and move on.

  17. @mandypyle6495

Tripps has been our best player for consistently since he has arrived but however he was to blame for the two goals, but I do think he could do with a rest,so I do think that I would of played hall on the the left and play tino on the right,so some of them players like tripps could have had a good rest and be ready for spurs on Sunday, why did we pay 33m for hall when he hasn’t even come of the bench is he good enough in Eddie eyes
